Sharon Bially is founder and president of the PR firm BookSavvy Public Relations where she proudly publicizes fiction and nonfiction authors and books.
A lapsed writer, she’s the author of the novel Veronica’s Nap and an active member of Grub Street, Inc., the nation’s largest independent writing center.
Prior to founding BookSavvy — which happened accidentally in response to friends’ requests for PR help — Sharon was vice president of the PR firm Farrell Kramer Communications, surviving its merger with a New York investor relations firm and a couple of long years on the outskirts of Wall Street.
In an earlier life she was an economic policy wonk at the OECD in Paris, living for 12 years in France before relocating with her family to the Boston area.
For fun she takes ballet classes and voice lessons and daydreams of having a pied-à-terre in Paris or Provence.
