Before becoming an author, Erika Liodice spent nearly a decade searching for a job she was passionate about. She worked for a gamut of companies, from small start-ups to Fortune 500s, where she marketed everything from vaccines to vacuums to virtual worlds. While her corporate career definitely had some glamorous highlights—lunch with Alec and Billy Baldwin, meeting the cast of The Sopranos, an elevator ride with Tommy Hilfiger—she ultimately realized that she’d left her passion on the pages of the novellas she had crayoned as a little girl.
Determined to build a career she was passionate about, Erika decided to embrace her inner entrepreneur and start her own publishing company. In 2011, she launched Dreamspire Press and released her first novel, Empty Arms. In 2016, she was invited to contribute to the Writer Unboxed team’s first anthology, Author in Progress (Writer’s Digest). Currently, Erika is writing and publishing High Flyers, a children’s chapter book series for readers ages 7-10.
