Nina Badzin is a writer and blogger who lives in Minneapolis with her husband and four children. Her short stories have appeared in The Drum Literary Magazine, Independent Ink Magazine, Literary Mama, Midwestern Gothic, Monkeybicycle, The Pedestal Magazine, The Potomac, Sleet, and others. Nina’s story “Son” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and two of her stories were short-listed in contests run by Glimmer Train Stories.
After guest posting at Writer Unboxed in October 2010, Nina immediately started a blog with the not-very-clever, but useful name Nina Badzin’s Blog. She writes about parenthood, writing, reading, friendship, and a variety of other topics. Her essays have appeared in one anthology and on numerous other blogs including the Huffington Post’s books, parenting, religion, and technology pages.
