Barbara Samuel O’Neal has written a number of highly acclaimed novels, The Lost Recipe for Happiness (a 2010 RITA finalist), No Place Like Home, Lady Luck’s Map of Vegas, and Madame Mirabou’s School of Love. She has won five RITA awards, two Colorado Center for the Book awards, and has made lists of favorites and best books of the year several times.
As might be evident by her books, Barbara loves hiking, food, long distance walking, travel, and dance. She often blogs about her cooking experiments, her travels, and the writing life at www.awriterafoot.com, where she also shamelessly posts her photos. A native of Colorado, she now lives on the skirts of Pikes Peak with her partner, a British endurance athlete, and three animals who convinced her they needed rescue.
Her most recent book, The Secret of Everything, is available now in most bookstores.
