Anna Elliott is a life-long devotee of historical fiction, folklore, and Arthurian legend. She was expecting her first daughter when she had a very vivid dream of telling her mother that she was going to write a book about the daughter of Modred, villain of the King Arthur tales. She was very grateful to her daughter for being an excellent sleeper even as a newborn and allowing her the time to turn her dream into Twilight of Avalon, the the first of the Twilight of Avalon trilogy and her first published book. She was further grateful to her second daughter for waiting to be born until she’d completed Sunrise of Avalon, the third book in the trilogy.

Twilight of Avalon was published in May, 2009 by Touchstone Fireside (Simon&Schuster). The second in the trilogy, Dark Moon of Avalon, was published in May 2010, followed by Sunrise of Avalon in May 2011. Anna recently moved to the Washington DC area with her husband, toddler, and newborn baby. When not playing with her little ones, she loves cooking, jogging, and of course reading. And thanks to her amazing babysitting husband she is even finding the time to work on a new historical fantasy series.
