Congrats again to Dave Olimpio, who won the Writer Unboxed Summer Flash Fiction contest! Thanks to WU for giving me the chance to provide illustration prompts.
My big news: my first children’s book launches this week! I’M BORED is a new picture book written by Michael Ian Black and illustrated by yours truly, published by Simon & Schuster Books For Young Readers. You can read about it here and see the fun homemade book music video I created with a friend. Writer Unboxed will be interviewing me about the book later this month. I made the Potato puppet in the video. As you can tell from the horrible stitching, I can’t sew!! But I’m hoping it added more character. :-D

Heh, thanks. I don’t know how popular a stuffed potato would be as a toy. As a side dish, though, I’m all for it! :-D Not sure when I’M BORED will be available in Australia – good question. I’ll try to find out.
