I wonder though how this model could be adapted for the debut author? No clear answer answer jumps out at me. Give away a short story? He discovered some interesting things about readers and such on his journey, but I'm still not sure if his actions were innovative or just plain silly. I don't think I could do something like that, for fear I might end up being held hostage in someone's basement and/or on the 10 o'clock news. But the poster was hilarious.
