		<description>It was refreshing to read that another micropress has hit the scene.  Myself and a number of other authors from around the world have been published since 2008 by YouWriteOn.com in the UK.  Exactly the same conditions apply. Lightning Source are the inestimable printers and the distribution chain is the same as for Platypus.  YWO.com work on the 40 for them, 60 for us principle, with books retailing for a very excellent price in the Northern Hemisphere.

I am excited for Platypus, as I see nothing wrong with independent publishers in this current market, particularly those with the stated aims of Platypus.  Also, as an Australian, I LOVE the name.</description>
