Honoring the act of creation – I love that. My resolutions are ongoing efforts of finishing off my novel, spend time with family, and take a deep breath and don’t forget to enjoy the process/journey/moment. Oh yeah, and read as often as possible.

Those are great goals. I really like “finish stuff.”

I don’t make resolutions, but I set goals. This year’s main goal is also my mantra: Finish Novel. Find Agent.Get Published.

Of course, I have sub-goals to the Finish Novel part and that has to do with the writing process and that’s to improve, improve, improve! (not to mention that if it’s not AIC, I’ll never become a better writer and ultimately the mantra will be of no use.)

Trish, I’m going to try and have more fun too. I’m a worker bee and I get too caught up in goals. But life is too short. Fun needs to be a priority too!

My resolution is to have some fun. Writing is great and I love it–the business side, the creative side, the interaction with other authors & readers–not to mention the life flexibility. So I’m going to fret less and have more fun.

Very realistic goals. (And I have to say as an aside…OMG, I miss Calvin and Hobbs)

Working on mine but I think I’ll copy your #1. That is me. I have three projects on the “front burner” that need to be finished, all at different word counts.
