Great interview! I appreciate her story about learning that she wasn’t meant to be a plotter… I’m having the same experience. Letting go of control is so hard, but it feels so much more authentic! I also love the fact that the murderer can change as she writes. I love discovering new things about my stories as I go. :)

I like what she said about using the two POVs to keep true to her characters. Research–oh yes! Love it, love it, love it! I also liked the way she’s found balance between strict outlining and writing off the cuff. Nice middle ground. Looking forward to reading more!

Love love love this interview! I can’t put my finger on it, but there’s something about her answers that just kept me reading and nodding and going, YES!
