Snippets

This issue of Snippets will have to be super brief because I’m on overload today, but I wanted to say RIP to Dominick Dunne, one of the greats among magazine feature writers. He chronicled the crimes committed by the wealthy and elite, and did it with such panache that his non-fiction read like fiction. I will miss his feature in Vanity Fair magazine.
Curious about what the Prez is reading when he’s on the beach? A little of everything, it turns out.
The official presidential reading list has a little fiction, a little non-fiction, some history and a close look at the global environmental crisis.
I didn’t realize there was an “official” presidential reading list. I’m more curious about the “unofficial” reading list.
Lucky authors who made it onto the list; the endorsement should help their sales.
I’ll try to post more later; for now, write on!
