		<description>I love this.  I agree, it&#039;s important to get the magic right and think it through carefully. Then readers can feel transported and secure that the writer knows what they are doing!

		<description>Another useful discussion might center around how much to get into the mechanics of the magic. I&#039;m trying to walk the line. On the one hand, the story isn&#039;t about the magic. On the other, I need to make sure there is enough that satisfies the reader to the point where they are not questioning the verisimilitude of the magic system. Ideally, I&#039;d like the magic in my book to be like a good referee: You don&#039;t focus on them, but the game moves along and is entertaining. Or something like that. Thanks for the post!</description>
