I’ve read the book at least twice and still use it for reference. Noah Lukeman is simply one of the best as far as giving direction to writers. Thanks, Teri, for a great interview!

I have to concur. After reading the book and then applying the tenets to my various WIPs, I felt charged up enough to send Noah Lukeman a note of appreciation. Which he kindly replied to. Kudos to him for this work and the other reference gems he’s written for authors.

And kudos to you, Therese, for this practical article.

What a fascinating article! Sometimes, such a small thing can mean so much. Noah Lukeman certainly gives me a new appreciation for the power of punctuation. He is so correct when he said it can affect the style, pacing, etc. Thanks for another great article Therese!

Thank you, Teri. I actually found myself enjoying this article and taking mental notes. Correspondence is part of my daily activities, as well as other forms of writing, and I do question my punctuation sometimes. Perhaps I will be investing in this book sometime very soon.

Interesting that Lukeman can use punctuation as a sort of Rorschach test. Hmm, I’ll have to go back and look at what my preference say about me.
