Julie, I think it might be hard for some writers to get to NYC to meet editors and agents, but it's probably the ideal. (Anyone else want to chime in with opinions?) I'm about a 3-hour drive away from the city, so it was do-able for me. I had such a great time today. Not sure yet where we're having dinner, but I'll definitely run the Perilla idea by my family.
