PhotobucketLong-time readers might’ve been wondering for a while, “Where’s Marsha Moyer?” Well, I’m sad to announce that our friend has decided to leave the WU forum as a contributor as other life demands take hold. We wish her all of the very best, and we’ll definitely keep tabs on her career for you. Thank you, Marsha, for all of your fabulous posts. You’ll be missed!

As sad as we are about Marsha leaving, though, we’re equally happy that someone new will be joining our team.

Barbara Samuel is a five-time RITA-award-winning novelist. She’s not only a gifted storyteller but someone who’s studied and taught extensively about the spiritual side of the writing life. We’re excited she’s agreed to bring some of this wisdom to WU in once-monthly posts starting this coming Wednesday–and every 4th Wednesday of the month. You can read more about Barbara at her contributor’s page, HERE.

Welcome, Barbara!

Therese Walsh co-founded Writer Unboxed in 2006. Her debut novel, The Last Will of Moira Leahy, sold to Random House in a two-book deal in 2008, was named one of January Magazine’s Best Books of 2009, and was a Target Breakout Book in 2010. She's never been published with a lit magazine, but LOST's Carlton Cuse liked her haiku best on Twitter, and that made her pretty happy.
