Great interview. I found my first Katie Fforde book STATELY PURSUITS quite by accident, taken by the 'ff' of the name. Ever since I've been collecting Katies although I still don't have them all. I loved the last 2, PRACTICALLY PERFECT and GOING DUTCH, especially the latter with its somewhat riper but delightful Jo. I hope Katie writes many, many more books and I do hope not so young characters will make a few appearances in future books.
I'd like one of the characters to marry a foreigner or to live in another country. It's quite an experience. I sat down next to a handsome stranger on a flight some 26 years ago and the following years have been a multi-national adventure and lots of laughs. Katie could write this sort of 'hands across the sea' story into a delicious novel.

I love Katie Fforde's books. Since I am in my 50s, if they are hen lit so much the better. I often listen to the audio versions because it it so nice to hear the British accents and I notice on her website that many of them are in audio form. But the audio versions aren't available in the states. What can be done to have them more available over here at a reasonable cost--like not $100. I realize the dollar is isn't doing very well, but I wouldn't pay that much for an audio book that is published here. Thanks.

Well, I'm sure Katie won't mind me sharing that we sat on the interview for a bit, hoping to get her to amplify some of her comments, but she's a very busy lady! I love reading Fforde when I'm feeling the need for a fun, wacky read. She never disappoints.

If Ms. Fforde's books are as funny as she is, she may be my first romance read...Plus, it cracks me up when I see names with those double consonants, like Fforde. I'm already laughing and I haven't even opened the book!
