First, the big news. We are pleased to announce that Ray Rhamey, of the incomparable blog Flogging the Quill, is joining WU as a contributor. Ray’s forte is editing, and as regular readers of his blog know, he’s as sharp as they come in terms of rooting out banal writing. Ray also consented to do one of our first interviews for WU, and he’s been a great friend to us as we’ve puzzled our way through the world of blogging and publishing. We’ve learned a lot from Ray, and we know our readers will too. Look for his first post with us in mid-August.

We are also expanding our list of guest bloggers in our quest to bring you the freshest perspectives on the crazy business of writing unboxed genre fiction. Our next guest blogger will be Quantum’s Eric von Rothkirch. We look forward to his post as he’s a bit unpredictable–in a good way!

Finally Therese and I have been diligently hounding unboxed authors and industry professionals for more interviews. I think you’ll be happy with who we’ll feature this fall. If you’ve got the name of an author or industry professional you’d like us to profile, please feel free to make suggestions either by leaving us a comment or e-mailing us at writerunboxed (at) writerunboxed. com. We can’t promise that we’ll land the interview, but we’ll give it a good try.
