In recent years I've kicked my health and diet into shape, and my creativity has been similarly kick-started. What about activities that stifle such thinking? Activities that require just enough brain activity that you can't multi-task adequately, but too little to entertain you? It might be fun to suggest activities to avoid..... I had to laugh when I read this. I was driving on the Interstate to meet my husband and I was thinking about my novel. Suddenly, I had THE EPHIPHANY and of course, nothing to write it down on. So what did I do? I called up my husband and said, "I know this is going to sound really strange, but you need to write this down for me." And he did, without even bothering to give me a hard time.
