The teacher is from Canada and is very active online. She was tough, tough tough!! I learned a lot from her. Plotting is NOT my favorite thing to do but it has helped me in ways I cannot even begin to describe. She had us plot our favorite authors as well. Oh, and I love the quote about Get it written. I am struggling to write these days. I plaster sayings all over my desk as well, and corkboard and mirror... By the way, I could use a few friendly visits from other authors etc. So I am putting my website again. When I do, it tends to bring about creativity block for me. I have a mindless job, and spend the night thinking about what I will write the next day. Then I make notes. This organic style allows me to not bottle the story in early on, and has lead to some suprising plot twists. Not, obviously, this works for me. But I am not hinting that it should work for anyone else. I write YA adventure, and my books can be a little more fly by the seat of the pants. I don’t pre-plot in entirity, per se.
