		<description>I can identify with this so well, especially since my first ms was rejected because of potential marketing problems (or so I was told by an agent). Though I&#039;ve grown as a writer since then in many ways, I don&#039;t think I&#039;ve lost my ability to be a square peg, and I&#039;m okay with that. Even if my story is never published, it is what it is, because I am what I am...so it&#039;s all good!</description>

		<description>I like the idea of writing the story that doesn&#039;t fit within genre parameters - but then, that is always an excuse for editors and agents to reject you based on that fact that they wouldn&#039;t know how to market it.  It&#039;s a Catch-22 situation!</description>

		<description>I think YA fiction is where the most exciting work is currently occuring.  I&#039;ve found the freshest voices and ideas in my daughter&#039;s bookshelves.  We really are in a golden age of children&#039;s lit, imo.</description>
